Everyone who has ever made a film or video production knows that there’s a lot of gear to pack.
It’s easy to forget something important, and nothing is more stressful than standing there on location and find out that you forgot your CFast cards, SDI cable, or the last light stand.
That’s why I find it handy to have a checklist ready. I use it to pack everything I need, and I usually do it the night before a shoot.
You can download it for below as either Excel or Open-Document-format for free.
Use it as it is or make your own tweaks to it–the document isn’t locked in any way (except for the first row, which you can easily unluck and change if you prefer).

Everyone should have an equipment list that’s been checked and rechecked before they go off to a shoot. It’s never a good feeling when you’ve gotten to a wedding a day early and you realize you left your laptop power cord or tripod at home and BestBuy closes in an hour.
Haha yes. I’ve had to run to the nearest brick-and-mortar shop to get a few accessories from time to time. It’s so stressful. Hence the list 😉
